About Solvd Together
Solvd Together is a human‑centred design consultancy specialising in learning, capability and people‑centred challenges. We partner with organisations to tackle the people and performance challenges that traditional training can’t solve - blending discovery, behavioural science and creative design to deliver experiences that shift mindsets, build capability and create measurable impact.
Demand for our work continues to grow, and we’re expanding our delivery capability by recruiting an experienced consulting manager. This person will elevate how we scope, structure and deliver projects, strengthening our ability to run multiple high quality workstreams. They’ll also help shape thinking with clients and play a key role in the continued growth and evolution of Solvd.
The opportunity
As a Senior Consultant at Solvd, you’ll take ownership of defined workstreams from end to end. You’ll frame ambiguous, people-centred challenges, run robust discovery, translate insight into recommendations, and design creative, evidence-based interventions. You’ll work directly with senior stakeholders, bring structure and pace to delivery, and help evolve our methods, content and culture as we grow.
You will:
- Shape early discovery through interviews, surveys and qualitative synthesis, producing clear insights and recommendations.
- Facilitate sessions with clients to explore requirements, build shared understanding and agree the direction of travel ahead of design and build.
- Translate those insights into crafted solutions - whether that’s a workshop concept, a learning experience, a set of toolkits or creative assets.
- Oversee delivery across multiple workstreams, managing scope, risks and communication with senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to proposals and pitch materials, supporting business development with existing and new clients, and share practical insights through occasional thought leadership.
- Help build the company by improving internal methods, supporting peers and modelling a collaborative, low ego approach.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with experience in management consulting or L&D consulting - someone who can lead workstreams, handle complex stakeholders and work comfortably in client driven environments. You bring structured problem solving and the ability to turn discovery into clear, actionable direction that guides our creative and design teams.
In addition, you will bring:
- 3-5 years’ experience delivering projects in consulting or adjacent environments, with a track record of contributing meaningfully to client outcomes.
- Proven capability in qualitative discovery, including interviews (with senior leaders), focus groups, surveys, observation and synthesising themes into clear, evidence based insight.
- The ability to translate insight into structured direction for design - shaping early concepts and outlining the building blocks of experiences, materials or content.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to turn complex input into clear, well‑structured narratives and deliverables.
- High digital confidence - comfortable using Microsoft 365 and learning new tools quickly to improve quality, efficiency or collaboration.
- A proactive, curious and self‑starting approach, well‑suited to a remote‑first environment where independence, personal organisation and clear communication matter.
- A collaborative, low‑ego mindset - able to build trust, offer thoughtful challenge and contribute positively to the team’s culture.
